The cost of having your cavity walls insulated will depend on a number of factors.

1 - What kind of property is it?

Is it a bungalow or a detached house?

2 - What period was it built?

Cavity wall construction took place under different building standards and practices that can broadly be broken into these time periods pre-1978, 1978-1982, 1983-1993, 1994-2004 and 2005 - onwards.

3 - What type of cavity wall insulation do you want?

We do 2 types of cavity wall insulation, bounded bead and blown insulation.

4 - How far do we have to travel to reach your property?

This is an obvious extra expense but the further away from us you are the longer we have to travel and the more fuel we use.

5 - Is there a grant for cavity wall insulation that can help with the cost?

Yes there is a €400 government grant administered by SEAI. We are registered SEAI contractors so we can apply on your behalf.
